Our centre will be running school holiday art & craft workshops from Wednesday to Friday (10:00AM to 12:00PM). For students who wish to attend their normal art classes in the weekday mornings, kindly make an appointment in advance to check on availability. Please call 016-2116655 or 03-42575289 for booking. Otherwise, classes will commence at 2:30PM and 4:45PM on weekdays. Thank you.

There were briefing about the museum and the artefacts by Cik Nizreen, a guided tour to the various galleries, quizzes, ceramic art tile painting competition and goodie bags for the participants. A total of 33 students, parents and teachers participated in the study trip.

Participants viewed artefacts from different part of the world at the permanent galleries (the India Gallery, China Gallery and Malay World Gallery). The three galleries serve as representations of the diversity of peoples and the multi-cultural heritage of Malaysia. There was also an Architecture Gallery, Manuscripts Gallery, Ottoman Room, Ceramics & Glass Gallery, Metalwork Gallery, Woodwork Gallery, Arms & Armour Gallery, Jewellery Gallery, and Textiles Gallery. Participants also had the opportunity to visit a special gallery, a tribute to Australia’s ‘Afghan’ cameleers’.

RE: STUDY FIELD TRIP TO KUALA LUMPUR CRAFT COMPLEX ON 24TH JULY 2010

Warmest greeting from Da Vinci Ampang Point! Our centre will be organising a study field trip to the Kuala Lumpur Craft Complex next month. Details as below:

Date/Day : 24^th July 2010 (Saturday)

Time : 10am to 2pm

Place : Craft Complex , Off Seksyen 63, Jalan Conlay, 50450 Kuala Lumpur

There will be a guided tour to the various craft galleries, museum, craft demonstrations, batik painting competition, games and goodie bags for the participants. Lunch will be provided.

The fee for the field trip is RM45 per person. For young participants (Age 5 to 7 years), they may opt to bring their nanny or a parent at an additional cost of RM25 per person.

All participating students are required to come to Da Vinci Ampang Point centre at 9:30am sharp on Saturday 24^th July 2010. Students are encouraged to wear blue jeans, white t-shirt or Da Vinci T-shirt and comfortable shoes. Transport will be provided to and fro from Ampang Point (near Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital) to the Craft Complex.

Participants are reminded to follow the teachers’ or the guide’s instructions at all times; and to be on their best behaviour. Parents are required to pick up their children at our Da Vinci Ampang Point centre at 2:30pm sharp on the same day. There will be no art classes held on Saturday 24 July 2010. Students who miss their art lesson on this day may carry forward their art lesson to the following week.

Study Trip To Craft Complex Kuala Lumpur (Form)

Whereas the Monthly Fees for existing students for the Intermediate Da Vinci Kids Art Programme will be increased to RM150.00 per student per month (based on 4 lessons) and the Quarterly Fees will be RM435.00 per student per qtr (based on 12 lessons).

The new fee structure will apply to new registered students with immediate effect.

The increase in fees is inevitable and is accordance to our DV HQ discount and pricing policy.

Kindly take note that lessons paid must be completed within 4 weeks for monthly fee payment and within 12 weeks for quarterly fee payment. Replacement classes are subject to terms and conditions. Please call our centre at 03-42575289 to make an appointment or to arrange for replacement classes.
